It was decided that vintage really should mean vintage, and the off-the-peg ‘aged parts’ ’62 Strat was born. This is a great Fender American Vintage Reissue '62 Strat. It is a 2011 and still has the sticker over the trem arm hole on the bridge. It does have a few very light marks, that I think my tech will buff out, other wise this is in mint condition. I recently saw a Fender 62 Reissue MIJ Stratocaster on a classified posting sight near where I live. The serial number shows it was produced between 1992-1993 at the Fuji-gen Plant (the same plant as the first 80's MIJ's). It's listed for about 1/4 the price you pay for a real american standard strat right now in my country. I'm new at strat world but I'm loving a Squire that was borrowed from a friend. Now I'm looking for a great Fender strat to call my own (mex or american). And I've found a "MIM 62 Reissue", as the vendor calls it, in shell pink color. But I can't find more information about this series. The vendor also says that it comes with a original fender
